The basics of this recipe came from my mom, and it was passed down to her from her mother and Oma. I changed it a little, and you can too. You can braise in basically any liquid you want. The short ribs come out so delicious and tender, and there is not an overwhelming sauce to overpower them. 

Super Short Ribs

Browned short ribs are simmered for about 2 hours with onions, pineapple, honey, and chili sauce. Vinegar could be added for a sweet-and-sour variation.

Boneless, simmering short ribs broiled then thrown in the oven. Easy as 1-2-3. Hubby LOVES this dish and whines when I don't make it. If you like LOTS of sauce double the liquid amounts. Great for indoor cooking nights....
